Departure:
My husband and me went to
Wataniya Airport, which is different from the International Kuwait Airport. It
is a good quite place, the lounge was very good since I like quite places

At 9:00
am we entered the plane. A coincidence that my brother and his wife were with
us in the same plane but we sat in the back of the plane seat 15A and 15B and
the plane flew at 10:45 am..
The time
of the flight was 4 hours and 52 minutes, it wasn’t that tiring but we were
tired because we didn’t sleep the night before. Food was delicious” be careful
when ordering the seafood sometimes they mess up in preparing it “ just a
thought.

Day (1):
We arrived Vienna at 1:15 pm in Vienna
timing, people there are so welcoming I really felt like I am no stranger here
everybody is smiling and friendly.
My
father always told me that the real experience to a country by taking train or
bus, make taxi your last option in Europe in general especially when you are
less than 3 persons.
We took
“CAT” train. Tickets are bought by a machine, adult ticket is 10 euro and it
takes 16 minutes until it reaches city centre, all staff are very friendly I
really did liked them especially when they try to communicate with you, when we
gave the man our tickets he said “ Shokran” which means thank you in Arabic
LOL.

After that
we switched trains into the regular train “ slower and cheaper than CAT” and we
chose a ticket for 72 hours “ a ticket for unlimited train entrances for 72
hours” Adult ticket is 13.20 euro.
Lucky
for us, our hotel “The Renaissance Wien hotel “ is right next to the train stop
Meidling Haupstr. So we didn’t have a hard time finding the hotel.
Reception
was very easy no complicated procedures and this is the loveliest thing about
Vienna, our room was in the fifth floor Room 529, it was somehow smaller like
any other European hotel but is was clean and well organized. PS: don’t try to
look at the mirror it will bring the worst face of you LOL just a thought.
We sat
in our hotel room to call our family and to have a rest; we slept for like two
hours I can’t believe how I could wake up I was glued to the bed but the thought
of having a new adventure is what made me get up.
We got
dressed and went outside the hotel to see the streets of Vienna; it was Sunday
so everything was closed. Take my advice always keep a handful of tissues and a
jacket near by you will eventually need them at some point.

We took
a walk hoping to reach the Schenbrunn Palace before night, air was so cold and
refreshing and everywhere you look around there are always people taking a walk
of simply exercising. We got caught up in the way and we reached a park “auer-wensbach” where you can sit down and
enjoy the nature, there was a special zone for dogs where people can walk and
play with their dogs. It was so wonderful and it has big tress twice the size
of a normal human.

After
Walking in that beautiful park we went on in our trip to find the Palace until
it was right in front of us..
It was a
REALLY big palace. Unfortunately it was closed because it closes at 4:00 PM so
we took quick pictures and went back because we were hungry.

Lucky
for us I discovered by coincidence a Halal restaurant just in front of our
hotel so we went there and ordered a Kabab sandwitch, I think the staff were a
Muslim family, the food was so delicious but we had to wait nearly 20 minutes
until our meals arrived so try to come hungry 80% to tolerate that time LOL.

After
Dinner we returned to our hotel at 8:15 as the city officially “closed-down”
and there is nowhere to go, and now we are preparing our trip for tomorrow and
trying to figure out where to go first because we have only 72 hours in this
place and we want to make the best of it.
